The 2001 Deer Season was enjoyable and challenging. We started the season with two great bucks and things just got better.

Warm weather made hunting enjoyable and movement slow a times. Good hunters that didn't give up certainly helped our success.

We saw numerous good deer, many great young deer and some truly exceptional older bucks. With all the recent mild winters here in Alberta, it is sure helping the maintenance and growth of an already excellent deer herd.

Our success in 2001 was over 70% harvest and 100% opportunity. Each and every hunter we guided this year made our jobs interesting and enjoyable. The photos of 2001 show some of the great deer we harvested and the staff at Wild Rose Whitetails, look forward to an exciting and successful 2002 season!

Great buck, Justin!
10:00 A.M. the first day of Mark's six day hunt. This great 10 point chased a doe right in front of him.
A running shot and a little tracking recovered this beautiful buck for Greg.
Great deer!
After 6 plus years of hunting a buck called "Ol' Fence Post". Kelly and Mac were the lucky pair to get him!

Ryan harvested this heavy old buck at noon while he was breaking ice on a pond.
