The weather during hunting season here at Wild Rose Whitetails was warm. It was above 0 celsius for most of the season with no snow which made for some very comfortable hunting. Craig Pucci came through this year with an outstanding buck shot with his bow. Congrats Craig! We opened the rifle season with Doug Liles taking a very good 4x4 and then enjoyed some late season duck hunting. The second hunt saw Abe and his 2 sons hunt very hard to get a couple of good deer. We ended the year with Ron Martin shooting a gross 170+ great deer on the last evening. Our friend Mark Sorenson took a very old and wide trophy whitetail. Greg took another great deer this year and Barry got lucky again. The crew at Wild Rose Whitetails really enjoyed our 2008 deer season. We are looking forward to hunting some of the great deer that we know made it to the 2009 season. To be continued...
