Our 2000 deer
season was exciting and enjoyable as ever. The year started off with
a couple of good deer taken the first 2 days and just rolled on from
there.
The warm weather
slowed deer movement some of the time, but was also nice to be able
to hunt all day and not freeze.
We had a little
snow early that stayed for most of the month. This year we saw a lot
of good deer. Bucks in the 130+ to 150+ were very numerous. These
young bucks were active and healthy and makes the outlook for 2001
exceptional.
Our success
was about 70% harvest but was 100% enjoyable. Every year it's a pleasure
for us at Wild Rose Whitetails to hunt with a great and interesting
group of hunters. The photos of our 2000 season shows some of the
great bucks we harvested. We hope you enjoy the photos and we look
forward to a very exciting, enjoyable, adventurous and successful
2001 hunting season!
